Jobs/Careers Event for Young People
We are delighted that the Mayor of Bromley, Cllr Nicholas Bennett, will be opening this year’s Jobs Fair for young people at the Central Library, Bromley on Friday 12th July. The event is organised jointly between DWP and Bromley EBP.
Over 30 employers from a range of sectors including The Army, Clarion Housing Group, DWP, London Borough of Bromley, Lewisham & Greenwich Hospital Trust, Mytime Active, Santander and Transport for London will be at the event with their ‘live’ vacancies for young people. A number of training and apprenticeship organisations will also be there promoting their support including Barnados, JTL, London South East Colleges and Springboard.
The event is open to any young Bromley resident (16 – 24) who is interested in finding out more about apprenticeships and job opportunities. We are very keen to welcome the sixth form students from Bromley schools we have worked with throughout the year who are not intending to go onto University. They are all invited to come along between 10.00am and 12.30pm, with a copy of their CV, to meet local and national employers interested in local youth talent.
