What is an Educational Visit?

Naturally the traditional 'school trip' springs to mind! But, broadly speaking, an educational visit is any time students leave the school grounds.

This may include obviously hazardous activities:
•  adventurous activities
•  river/beach/traffic studies
•  world challenge
•  trips abroad

But equally rigorous procedures must also be followed for activities within the local community:
•  sporting fixtures
•  churches
•  local businesses
•  parks and farms

And day trips or visits:
•  industrial complexes
•  museums, galleries and cultural centres
•  theatres and exhibitions
•  theme parks
